Security & Privacy

Your payment and order details are done using iVeri - Card Acceptance Solutions, a division of Nedbank South Africa , one of the largest commercial banks in South Africa. With iVeri Lite, once you have completed your information on the order form and submitted it by clicking on the button, you leave the Birdkeeping the SA Way website for a few seconds and iVeri takes over. A secure connection using the iVeri 128bit SSL is used to transmit the card details securely encrypted to the bank for processing. (Read more about SSL - www.ssl.com). This secure connection can be seen as a new browser opens up from the iVeri server which then has the lock at the bottom right side of this interim iVeri page, indicating a secure connection. The card details are then never returned to the website, only a result code is sent so that as soon as you are returned to the page, the payment result can be displayed by the Birdkeeping the SA Way website.

We are committed to preserving your privacy and security while you shop online. We do not give or sell your private information to any other company. Birdkeeping the SA Way uses the information you provide to fulfill your orders and to help improve our service to you. We will use your e-mail address to contact you regarding your purchase. On occasion, we will call regarding your order.

Credit Card Payment

  • Credit Card Payment - The easiest way to purchase your product is with your credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. We use the secure servers of iVeri - Card Acceptance Solutions, a division of Nedbank South Africa , which use encryption software to protect your credit card information.

Dispatch, Delivery Details & Delivery Time

All goods sold are inclusive of shipping costs. Details of tax on shipping charges are included in the price of the items you are buying.Delivery times for local orders in South Africa is 6 to 10 days and international orders are sent via surface mail and take approximately 4 - 6 weeks from date of order.

Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with what you order from us, and we'll do everything we can to make sure that shopping with us is the best experience it can be. However, we understand that sometimes an item just isn't what you hoped it would be. There are many reasons why you might want to make a return, and we have done our best to address potential issues here:

We offer a 100% guarantee that if you're in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund, provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, with all labels intact.

Our normal returns period is 10 days from when you receive the goods. If you wish to return goods to us, you may do so without giving us prior notice. In this case please advise reason for return of goods and enclose it with the returned goods. Please allow up to 15 working days for your goods to be returned to us.

Return of Faulty Goods: If you believe the goods we have supplied to you are faulty, you should return the item to us together with a note, explaining what you believe is the problem and stating the original order number. When we receive the item, we will investigate the fault and contact you to agree the most appropriate resolution.

What if there is a mistake on my order? In the unlikely event of this happening please return the goods immediately along with the postal cost incurred to return the goods and state what your original order was .On receipt of your parcel a new order will be sent out to you along with the compensation for the postal cost that you unfortunately had to incur.
